TURBINES ARRIVE ON SITE
Woolley Hill Wind Farm took delivery of its first turbine components between 6-10 October 2014.
Several blades were among the first components to arrive on site, having travelled from Immingham Docks under escort on special low loader lorries. Further information about deliveries is available here.
Once completed, the four turbines at Woolley Hill will be capable of generating sufficient renewable electricity annually to power more than 8,000 homes*, as well as bringing investment of £50,000 in the local community every year.
