Woolley Hill Wind Farm became fully operational on Monday 9th March 2015.

The four turbine wind farm is capable of generating sufficient renewable electricity to power more than 8,000* UK homes.

It also delivers direct community benefits to local people in the form of a £100 annual electricity discount for properties within 2km of the turbines, plus a Community Fund of £20,000 each year to support local projects.

*Based on a capacity factor of 39.1% and DECC average annual home equivalent of 4128kWh.
