NOVEMBER 2014: SITE VISIT FOR LOCAL PEOPLE TO VIEW TURBINES

A group of 14 local parish councillors and residents from Ellington and Spaldwick visited Woolley Hill Wind Farm on Saturday 8 November to view the turbines at close quarters and inspect the turbine components still awaiting erection.

 Above, Noel Breslin, RES Site Manager (fourth from left) explaining the construction process. Below, visitors are free to get up close and inspect a tower section and the base to which it will be attached. The turbines at Woolley Hill have four tower sections altogether.
