Community Benefit Fund
Woolley Hill Wind Farm provides a Community Benefit Fund of £20,000 per year, index linked, to support local social and environmental projects. The Community Benefit Fund is part of a community benefits package totalling £50,000 per year. The first payment was made in 2015.
The fund is administered by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation (CCF), but decisions about where the money is spent are made by a Fund Panel of local people.

Local Electricity Discount Scheme
The Local Electricity Discount Scheme (LEDS) offers residential, commercial and community properties closest to Woolley Hill Wind Farm an annual discount off their electricity bill.
LEDS at Woolley Hill was launched in 2015 and offers properties within 2km of the turbines an annual discount of £100 (index-linked), which is paid direct to their electricity supplier. Eligible properties have been contacted directly with details of how to apply for LEDS and first payments were made in 2015 once Woolley Hill Wind Farm was fully operational.
Together with the Community Benefit Fund, LEDS brings the community benefits package at Woolley Hill Wind Farm to £50,000 per year.
